Module 1: Fundamentals of Cybersecurity
Introduction to cybersecurity, basic principles of information security, common threats and attacks, and relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.
Module 2: Network and System Security
Protection of wireless and wired networks, implementation of firewalls and intrusion detection systems, and security in operating systems, virtualization, and cloud environments.
Module 3: Application and Data Security
Secure software development, protection of web and mobile applications, secure databases and encrypted storage, incident response, and digital forensic analysis.
Module 4: Threat Intelligence and Risk Management
Threat intelligence and cyber intelligence, risk management and vulnerability assessment, mitigation strategies, and cyber resilience and business continuity.
Module 5: Advanced Trends in Cybersecurity
Security in IoT and smart devices, application of artificial intelligence and machine learning in cybersecurity, blockchain and cryptocurrency security, and ethical aspects and future threats in cybersecurity.
Master's Thesis in Cybersecurity
After completing the modules, students will begin their Master's Thesis, applying at least one of the topics covered during the academic year. Each student will have a tutor to guide them, and the thesis will be defended before a jury.
